“ WE LOVE EL SERRANO!!! This place is wonderful. I first came here with my grandmother when I was in middle school. Now I'm a married mom and still coming here so that should tell you something. They have great food. Normally come here for our anniversary dinner but this time we just wanted to have a really good meal with no occasion involved. First thing that you will love when you walk in is the original old style Spanish decor and the way the building is designed. I love it. Definitely gives a good vibe. Now let's talk about the food The pollo fundido is soooo fkn good don't mean to be foul but that's just how good it is. I've never ordered a different entree. Every time I say I'm going to try something new, I just ordered this classic one again because I love it so much. The chicken breast is always juicy and tender. It's covered in cheese which I love. The tortilla is normally grilled but this time our server, Matthew, asked if I wanted it fried which surprised me. I had never had that way before or I would have tried it. Glad I did. It was so good. Speaking of Matthew, he was a great server. He deserves a raise! My husband's meal looked great. He shared a bite of his pork steak with me and it was really juicy. I had gift cards so we went all out this time; ordered two different appetizers plus I got some flan to-go. Everything was perfect. My daughter loved her food as well. We don't feed her meat so I was happy that they have vegetarian options on the menu. Necesito empezar a venir mas aqui. “ We ate here for the first time last night with some friends and everything was delicious! I had a taco salad with chicken and my husband had Pollo a la Parilla, which I tried as well. The chicken was marinated wonderfully. We also had fried ice cream and another dessert with a fried Hershey’s chocolate bar (I can’t remember what it’s called) there and I took a slice of chocolate cake home. Our server was great and the restaurant is beautiful. We went out to the courtyard and looked around and were just amazed at the detail of everything. We will definitely be back. ”

“ If you are in the area in the summertime, this is a must go place. The folks are from Peru, and they serve Pisco. The dining area is really bright, and the glass ceiling allows sunshine to lighten up the place. It is worth taking a stroll in the restaurant to look at the decoration and architecture. Place definitely has a unique set of decorations worth checking out. If the weather is permitting, the outside seating option is wonderful. In the bathroom, in addition to soap and sanitizer, they do have listerine. It's great to refresh your breath before you leave the restaurant, very well thought. Going back to Pisco, it is one of my favorite summer drinks and not east to find. You can not go wrong with Pisco sour. They have a great selection of Pisco choices with along Margarita, Wine, and Beer menu. I have had them prepare Spicy Margarita with Pisco, and it was delicious. The food menu is simple, but everything I had was fresh and prepared with care. I would recommend anything from the Peruvian cuisine section with your type of protein. They also have a variety of vegetarian operations as well. Can't wait to visit again. ”
“ Stopped by El Serrano for the happy hour tapas special. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The margaritas were tasty! The bar tender even made me a version without sour mix, which I really liked. There were two bartenders behind the bar, but it seemed like only one of them was responsible for those seated at the bar because the other guy wouldn't make eye contact with people at the bar. The restaurant area wasn't busy, so that was a little awkward because he was standing around while people wanted to put orders in. Overall, it was a nice happy hour experience. ”
“ First, the building is a beautiful piece of architecture. With every visit, the food has always been excellent in variety, taste, and prostration. In addition, the variety and quality of drinks are second to none. The happy hour is a crazy good deal, half off many drinks. I’m not a tequila drinker, but I do like margaritas; and their Peruvian brandy (Pisco) spin on the margarita, the Pisco-rita, was excellent. I also felt their Peruvian lager, made in partnership with Lancaster Brewing, was quite good. The bartender and table waitress were both friendly, attentive, and helpful. This is definitely one of our favorite local restaurants. We still need to get to the York location which is actually closer to home. ”
